Sometimes You Have To Be Cruel To Be Kind

While there are many people to blame for the crime this book represents, the Author would be remiss not to point an accusatory finger (no, not that one) at those whose efforts helped to save what ultimately became merely bad from remaining what was originally truly offal. I mean, awful.

Gratuitous castigation is therefore in order. The Author would like to begin with the usual suspects and move to the new rascally villains who were roped into this affair at first unknowingly and then, once they realized what shady business was going on, unwillingly.

The Repeat Offenders

Robert Yang

The Author has known Mr. Yang since they were kids. From that one might think Rob would know better. However, blackmail is a powerful tool and the Author is very grateful to his friend for his continued brutal honesty (and, admittedly, a lot of hard work) when reviewing and helping to edit this mess.

Gui Gassuan

Known by many as Past Exalted Ruler Gui, PER Gassuan has been friends with the Author for many years. They have much in common, including a rather questionable sense of humor. Many thanks for the support on the more daring jokes (and the unintended acceptance of responsibility for them).

The New Recruits

Nathan Moreno

In his review, the Author's oldest nephew kindly said that the book was worth a couple of laughs. While the Author hopes these laughs were for the right reasons, he is glad for the input he received and for his nephew's help in understanding these "new" readers.

Matt Moreno

It takes great strength to mine Art from sketchy source material, yet somehow the Author's third nephew came through. Many thanks for the images which were able to be squeezed in here and there throughout the book. (Color versions appear in a separate tab.)
